Inventors That Died because of their Inventions

INVENTORS AND THEIR INVENTIONS As an inventor, life is not easy, as they all have to come up with a brilliant idea that solves a problem in a way that no one has thought of before, after which there is need to design and engineer those ideas to take it from theory to reality. Invention had been proven to be a dangerous tasks, but nevertheless, those interested in inventing will still have the urge to go ahead because, there is need to bring forth new things, the world can't be stagnant with no update in technology. But sometimes, things go wrong. Over the course of civilization, many inventors succeeded beyond their widest dreams. But some were epic fails, inventions don't work as the designers intended, and sometimes inventors are killed by the very ideas they brought to life. 1. Movie Technologies that Exist

Movie Techs that Exist I remember when I was young I always wondered if the techs in movies were real and today am gonna share some with you Here I will be listing some technologies that we wouldn't even have imagined existed. • Transparent Phones The first time I saw these was a couple of years back in a kids TV show e.g Nicokolodeon movies. I always wanted one but my friends and families told me that its was just a film trick and didn't exist. As time went by, I have actually discovered that it actually exists and have been incorporated by a lot of mobile phone brands. The first company to make this unique technology back in 2013 was  Polytron , which is a Taiwan based company that created a phone that is fully transparent which only the circuit board, memory card and camera unit is visible. It was a touchscreen phone that has a fully functional SIM tray, SD card slot, microphone and camera. However, the phone did not yet have an operating system at the time. Since then...

The NASA Astrobee

Courtesy: Flight Engineer David Saint-Jacques Courtesy: Anne McClain It turns out that astronauts could use some help with their chores, just like many of us on Earth. Juggling priorities and schedules plays a big part in an astronaut’s life aboard the International Space Station (ISS) , and teams of flight controllers on the ground are constantly working to optimize the precious human work hours in space. Getting some assistance from robots that can take on some tasks will make work on the station more efficient.  Astrobee, NASA’s new free-flying robotic system, will help astronauts reduce time they spend on routine duties, leaving them to focus more on the things that only humans can do. Working autonomously or via remote control by astronauts, flight controllers or researchers on the ground, the robots are designed to complete tasks such as taking inventory, documenting experiments conducted by astronauts with their built-in cameras or working together to move cargo throughout t...
